Are you trying to make your laptop as a wifi router so that your ipod Touch could get online? Here is the way I found when I do ‘googling’.
Step by step:
You need to go to Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Sharing
Once there look in the Task sidebar there should be an option saying Manage Wireless ......
