FIVE STEPS TO CLEAN YOUR LAPTOP

As a portable device that could be brought everywhere, outdoor and indoor, your laptop is not always clean, sometimes even dust are hidden under the keypads or between them. Display monitor also sometimes covered by dirties from hand or fingers. And to clean your laptop is not just by using tissues or flannel fabric, you need certain tools and cleaning material to make your laptop clean and smooth and reduce or prevent from any scratch because of cleaning your glass display monitor.

OK, so what do you need at all? Prepare these things:

Cotton swabs

Compressed air (at least soft brush)

Soft cloth

Mixture of water and vinegar (or liquid cleaning sold at store)

First thing to know is to read your laptop manual instruction. Using too hard substance like liquid contains ammonia could harm your machine, so please read the manual book first.

Then what parts of your laptop should be cleaned?

First, take proper attention to keypads, for there is any dust and particle could be hidden there. Use the compressed air (better do cleaning jobs when the laptop is off: MY RECOMMENDATION) to clean dust and particles.

Second, Then clean laptop casing by using cotton swabs and give some liquid (water and vinegar or water and alcohol, do not use ammonia) unto the cotton swabs. Clean every part of the casing.

Third, to clean the display monitor just use soft dry cloth, do not use tissue or paper towels, this is to prevent any scratches.

Fourth, Clean I/O ports and cooling vents using compressed air, if there are any smudges then use the cotton swabs.

Fifth, After all use soft cloth to clean all parts of your laptop to remove wet parts and finishing your cleaning task.

That is all, and may your laptop could have better longevity of use.
